WAGGING TAILS DOG TRAINING
I am the owner of WTDT, although I don't teach anymore here in London as I now live in Norfolk.
I have over 30 years of training experience having joined my first club at 14 years old. I hold a degree in Canine Behaviour and Training and am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (www.apdt.co.uk) as well as a full member of the Pet Professional Guild (www.petprofessionalguild.com).
I am also an approved trainer for Dog A.I.D. helping owners train their own assistance dogs via the Dog A.I.D. Charity.
Like any professional worth their salt, I keep up to date with latest research and developments by attending seminars, conferences, courses, webinars, workshops etc.
My special interests are rescue dogs (of which I have four), sighthounds (of which I have two) and aggression issues. I also enjoy a wide range of canine activities with my own dogs, which is why our classes at WTDT also include elements from various canine sports to keep things interesting and fun.
About Vera Marney
My four dogs are:
Skye, a 10-year old rescue Cocker Spaniel (show type x working type)r and is getting ready for her time in the obedience and agility ring. She will tell you though that although obedience is quite fun, she actually much prefers agility and also enjoys having a go at some gundog work!
Blake, a 7-year old rescue Saluki x Greyhound and loves training. He is practicing for competitive obedience and is loving every minute of it.
Logan, a 5-year old rescue American Cocker Spaniel. He loves anything we do together. We train for agility and competitive obedience and will start competing in both this year.
Elijah, a 1-year old rescue Saluki Lurcher. He is only a baby, but we are practicing hard for competitive obedience and some trick training. He loves his training very much.
