My journey as a dog trainer began in late 2017. To my great disappointment, my own dog passed away in an accident. This experience made me realise that despite always owning dogs I was a novice as far as training them or teaching them life skills concerned. Seeking to rectify this situation, I then sought out Vera and Karen, who had trained a friend’s dog, and, as chance would have it, they needed help with their classes in East Dulwich. I started out observing, then aiding, and eventually teaching some of the classes.

 

I have completed a Foundation Degree in Canine Behaviour and Welfare, and attended numerous workshops like Canine First Aid, Hunting Dog training, and Scent Work.

In 2023 I have passed my assessment for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and am now a full member.
